For home bakers & handmade sellers
Know what every batch really earns.
MakerMargin turns material receipts into per-unit costs, margin-safe prices, and true profit per sale — offline, on your iPhone or iPad.
- Works fully offline
- No account, no cloud
- Pro is $2.99 — once

From receipt to retail price
Three steps between groceries and a price tag
Log what you paid
Enter a 5 lb bag of flour or a 100-pack of beads once. MakerMargin remembers the package price and works out the cost per pound, per bead, per egg — automatically.
Build the recipe, set your margin
Attach materials, labor minutes, and packaging to each product. A live suggested price updates with every change — cost ÷ (1 − margin), the honest way.
Sell and see real profit
Log a sale in one tap on market day. Stock deducts itself, profit lands on your dashboard by channel and by product. No spreadsheet reconciliation on Sunday night.
Everything in one pocket ledger
Built for small batches, not warehouses
Every feature exists because a market seller needed it — nothing is there to feed a dashboard nobody reads.
Package prices, per-unit costs
Bulk purchases become precise per-unit costs — rounded to four decimals, exactly the way a costing sheet would.
Margin-based pricing
Set a target margin and see a suggested price instantly. Raise the margin, watch the price respond — no math anxiety.
Inventory that keeps itself
Every sale deducts material stock. Low-stock alerts tell you what to buy before the next batch, not after.
Sales by channel
Farmers market, craft fair, Etsy, Instagram DMs — tag every sale and see which channel actually pays.
Quick Sell for market day
One-tap sale logging designed for the chaos of a busy stall. Sold, logged, back to the customer in seconds.
Offline and private
No account, no cloud, no signal required. Your numbers live on your device — where they belong.
12 currencies
Price in dollars, euros, pounds, and nine more — with the app fully translated for each.
CSV export anytime
Products, materials, sales — one tap to a spreadsheet your accountant will actually accept.

The same math the app uses, running in your browser. Start with a scenario that matches what you make:
Bakery Pricing Calculator
Enter what you actually paid — the whole bag of flour, the carton of eggs — and how much of each goes into a batch.
Open calculator →Soap & Candle Pricing Calculator
Soap and candle batches hide their costs in partial packages — a few ounces of fragrance oil, half a bag of wax.
Open calculator →Honey Farm Pricing Calculator
A jar of honey carries costs that are easy to miss: the jar and lid, the label, the market stall fee, and the time spent bottling and selling.
Open calculator →Handmade Pricing Calculator
The classic craft mistake is pricing materials times two — which quietly pays nothing for your hours.

Questions
Frequently asked
Is MakerMargin free?
The app is free to download and use with up to 3 products — materials, sales, inventory, and all calculators included. If your line grows past 3 products, Pro unlocks unlimited products for a one-time $2.99. No subscription, ever.
Do the web calculators cost anything?
No. The bakery, soap & candle, honey, and handmade pricing calculators on this site are free and run entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent to a server.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. MakerMargin is offline-first: materials, recipes, sales, and reports all work with zero signal — which is exactly when market-day sellers need them most.
Who is MakerMargin for?
Home bakers, soap and candle makers, jewelry artists, honey and farm-stand sellers — anyone who makes things by hand and sells them in small batches. If you buy materials in packages and sell in units, it fits.
iPhone only?
MakerMargin is built for iPhone and iPad and runs great on both — the iPad layout gives pricing and sales reports room to breathe. An Android version is not planned right now.
