1. Who We Are

MakerMargin (also known as 匠价本) is developed and published by NeoSura. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use the MakerMargin iOS application and this website.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 This website

The pricing calculators on this website run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are processed on your device and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. The website uses no cookies, no analytics scripts, and no advertising trackers. Standard web server logs may record requests (URL, timestamp) for security and operational purposes.

2.2 Data you enter

MakerMargin is an offline-first tool. All the data you create — materials, products, recipes, sales records, notes, and pricing — is stored locally on your device using Apple's file system. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it as a CSV file. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your business data.

2.3 Anonymous usage analytics

The app may send limited, anonymous event data to a server operated by NeoSura to help us understand general app usage patterns and improve the product. These events include app launch, feature interactions (e.g., adding a material, logging a sale, exporting data), and in-app purchase events (product loaded, purchase completed or cancelled). Each event carries the following technical metadata:

We do not collect your name, email address, device serial number, advertising identifier (IDFA), precise location, or any of the business data you enter into the app.

2.4 In-app purchases

MakerMargin offers a one-time "Pro Unlock" purchase processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit framework. Payment processing, transaction verification, and receipt management are handled by Apple. We receive no payment card details or billing information.

3. How We Use Information

• Anonymous analytics are used to identify bugs, measure feature adoption, and guide product improvements.
• Transaction data from StoreKit is used solely to verify your Pro entitlement and unlock features.

We never sell, rent, or share analytics data with third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 On your device

Your data is stored in the app's sandboxed container within iOS Application Support. It remains on your device and is protected by iOS's built-in security. If you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed.

4.2 On our server

Anonymous analytics events are transmitted over HTTPS. We retain these events for up to 90 days for analysis, after which they are automatically deleted. We implement reasonable technical measures to protect this data.

5. Third-Party Services

MakerMargin does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or Mixpanel), advertising networks, social media platforms, or crash reporting services. The only external service interactions are:

• Apple StoreKit — for in-app purchase processing (governed by Apple's own privacy policy).
• NeoSura analytics server — our own infrastructure for anonymous event logging.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with any third parties because we do not collect personal data. Anonymous analytics events are stored only on our own infrastructure. We may disclose information if required by law, but given the anonymous nature of what we collect, this scenario is extremely unlikely.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Delete your data: delete the MakerMargin app from your device. All local data is permanently erased.
• Export your data: use the built-in CSV export feature (Settings → Export) to export your products, materials, and sales data at any time.
• Analytics: anonymous usage events help us improve the app. They contain no personal information and cannot be used to identify you.
• Restore purchases: use the "Restore Purchases" button in the Pro upgrade screen to restore your Pro entitlement on a new or reset device.

8. Children's Privacy

MakerMargin is a business tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal information, no age verification is required.

9. International Users

MakerMargin is available worldwide on the Apple App Store. Anonymous analytics events may be transmitted to servers located outside your country of residence. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
